Women in stem 2026: 13 scholarships to support female talent
The Giuseppina Mai Foundation is promoting the fourth edition of the call dedicated to female students enrolled in scientific master's degrees. Applications open until 30 September 2026.
An important new opportunity has arrived for young female students who have chosen to build their future in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The Giuseppina Mai Foundation, in collaboration with Sistema's partners, has launched the fourth edition of the "Women in stem" call.
The objective of the initiative is to concretely enhance female talent and contribute to reducing the gender gap in stem disciplines, which are increasingly strategic areas for growth, innovation and competitiveness of the entire country.
The prize at stake
The call provides a total of 13 scholarships worth €3,000 gross each. The benefits are intended for the most deserving students enrolled in the first year of a master's degree course in stem disciplines for the new academic year 2025/2026.
Participation Requirements
Students who meet the following requirements can apply:
Be regularly enrolled, in the ACADEMIC year 2025/2026, in the first year of a master's degree in stem.
To be obtained a bachelor's degree by 31 December 2025, with a final mark of at least 106/110 and a weighted exam average of not less than 27/30.
Submit an ISEE 2026 not exceeding the €37,000 threshold.
You have not already received other scholarships for the same degree program.
How to apply and deadlines
There is time until September 30, 2026 to enter. Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the dedicated platform. The official scholarship award ceremony will be held in Milan (the exact date will be communicated at a later date).
