UniMe Sports Services 2026/2027: online form for free activities
UniMe SSD activities are back at the students' disposal. Learn about locations, membership fees, and the step-by-step process to get started with your workout.
The terms to take advantage of SSD UniMe's sports activities and services for the new 2026/2027 sports season are officially open. Students regularly enrolled at the University of Messina have the opportunity to access a wide range of disciplines for free, including the use of the weight room, fitness courses, swimming and numerous other activities organized at the facilities of the University.
The registration procedure
To start training and access the facilities, you must follow a precise registration process, starting with the completion of the online form. Here are the six steps required:
Online form: Fill out the online form to start the procedure.
Confirmation: Wait for validation and confirmation by the SSD UniMe Secretariat.
Medical Certificate: Obtain a valid medical certificate for the practice of sports (non-competitive or competitive).
Completion: Going in person at the Secretariat of the Cittadella Sportiva Universitaria or the Gymnasium of Palazzo Mariani to finalize the practice.
Secretarial costs: Make the payment of €5 for the annual subscription, plus €5 for the issue of the magnetic badge.
Credentials: Receive login details in order to perform in autonomy for online bookings.
Regulations and Venues
Access to any sporting activity is strictly linked to online booking. To ensure rotation and access for all subscribers, the regulation provides that it is possible to book only one activity per day.
The locations available to students are located in two city hotspots:
Cittadella Sportiva Universitaria: Viale Palatucci, 13 (Polo Annunziata).
Palazzo Mariani Gym: Corner between Corso Cavour and Via Loggia dei Mercanti (City Centre).
